Mutt or Meow Monday: Meet LKB, Tina Donahue's Meow from Heaven!

Welcome to Mutt or Meow Monday!

Mutt or Meow Monday is where we interview the author’s animal friends instead of interviewing the author. Let’s see what the animals have to say!

It’s great to have you here today.

Tina (whispering) to interviewer: A little while ago LKB (Little Kitty Baby) left us for that great catnip heaven in the sky. However, she speaks to me frequently during séances, and I’ve got to listen (you know how cats are – disobey them and you’re a goner). Anyway, wanted to clear that up before we begin. (Rustling of kitty treats in the background to bring LKB to the interview).

Jocelyn says: Now that Tina has made me teary-eyed, let's get to LKB - straight from kitty heaven!

Please introduce yourself.

My name is LKB. Dumb, huh? The people I owned couldn’t make up their minds what they wanted to call me. Like it was their choice, right? The lady kept cooing, ‘Baby’. The guy kept growling, ‘Little Kitty’. They put it together and was I ever left with a mess. To let them know how much they pissed me off, I never answered to anything but the sound of my fav treats. BTW, I just heard them rustling again. Where the hell are they? All I see are clouds up here. Not even one damn bird to hunt.
What’s your favorite book by Tina Donahue and why?

Wow, you must be really dumb if you think I can read. But hey, okay, I’ll play along. You know, I do eavesdrop on my lady while she’s composing her *ahem* masterpieces and reading the junk back to herself. Gotta say I like Seven Sensuous Days the best so far. It’s got two of the dumbest dogs on planet earth in it. Those idiots keep running into each other, slobbering, and doing what mutts do. Licking everything in sight, including themselves. Ewwww. I’m still waiting to star in one of her masterpieces. Hell, up here I got all the time in the world to wait, right?

Do you ever interrupt Tina for attention when she’s trying to write? Does she stop and give you attention, brush you off, or bribe you with treats?

Good question, since I’m dead. (Muttering obscenities). Let’s see how I can answer this question. When I first went bye-bye, my spirit rubbed against her leg. Nuthin. Acted like she was brain dead, you know? So, I rubbed harder. Still nuthin. Then I bit her. That got her attention. She smacked her leg and kept looking around like a spider got her or something. Good times. Reminded me of how I used to shoot out of my hiding places and trip her as she walked past.

What does Tina do to celebrate when she finishes writing a book?

Puts the feedbag on, what else? The way she scarfs down chocolate, you’d think she was about to go wherever in the hell I am, since their ain’t one single freaking thing to eat up here. What kind of joint is this anyway? I mean, I was a stray before I took over her house, but even my days on the street were better than this.

What’s the best part about living with an author?

24 hour maid service. I trained my lady well. J

What’s the worst part about living with an author?

The fact that I’m living with her anymore? Sheesh, don’t you listen? I’m dead. And trust me, up here ain’t no trip to Disneyland.

Catnip, toys or scratching post? Neither. I’m a stray. I like to toy with living things. Grrrr.

Head rubs, belly rubs or butt scratches? Anyone touches my butt and they’re toast. Trust me. I may have been a stray, but I like it decent. Head rubs are the best.

Final thoughts:
Hey, I’m all for a good joke. There was this calico, and an Abyssinian, and a Persian, and they were…wait, better not tell that one. Unless this is an X-rated site. *snicker*

Seven Sensuous Days
Tina Donahue
erotic contemporary romance

At an erotic auction, she’s his to bid on…to take…to command.

The night’s sultry, filled with carnal promise as Tessa participates in an agency event to raise money for charity. She’s chained and bared—as women were once displayed for a sultan’s harem—her sweet looks and full figure offered to the wealthy and powerful men.
Among them is Logan. To him, Tessa is so different from his late wife, the seemingly perfect female who cruelly stole his hope and future. Wanting only to forget and have a good time, he wins Tessa, demanding she be his in every way possible, engaging in all wanton acts, though not only for an evening…for seven sensuous days at his secluded Virginia estate.
A provocative proposal with such a dangerously virile man.
A week that changes everything, with Tessa’s exquisite vulnerability and Logan’s suddenly unquenchable desire more than either bargained for.
